Man Who Drove On Sidewalk In Northern Westchester Had Suspended License, Police Say

A 39-year-old man was busted on numerous traffic violations after he allegedly drove on a sidewalk.

Abror Sharobiddinov, of Brooklyn, was arrested by Yorktown Police on Monday, Feb. 3, after he was stopped on Route 6 for having a suspended registration, said Yorktown Police.

During a registration check, police found that Sharobiddinov's driver's license was also suspended for an insurance lapse and that he had been driving on a sidewalk, police said.

He was charged with driving with a suspended license, driving with a suspended registration, and driving on a sidewalk.

Sharobiddinov was released on his own recognizance and is due to appear in court on Thursday, Feb. 20.
